NEWS ALERT on the Special 8 - new owners!

The latest news 1/17, is that the Special 8 property has changed hands. We do not know yet that Carlos Moran (of Gayle Homes) the proposed developer has taken title to the Special 8 but he had a contract pending. We have been warned by a County Forest Commissioner that we need to watch over the Special 8. There have been instances where the Forest Preserve District has sought to buy a parcel and the owner has come in and tried to change the character of the land to raise its value. We want the Special 8 left as is.

If you see any construction equipment on the Special 8 we have been told to call the Land Acquisition office of the DuPage County Forest Preserve District at 630-933-7235 and call me at my home office 630-682-9297.
