What Is T.R.O.D.?

T.R.O.D. - Trail Riders of DuPage - was initiated in 1992 by a small group of dedicated people in an effort to preserve trails in DuPage County and keep them accessible to horses. This is detailed in our corporate purpose and remains the primary focus of T.R.O.D. today. Over the years, T.R.O.D. has expanded to address related interests of its members, particularly focusing on education and safety. Brought together by common concerns, T.R.O.D. also serves as a great source of networking for horsepeople in and around DuPage County. Because T.R.O.D. membership is not limited to any particular breed, discipline, skill level, or even horse ownership, it is unique in its ability to bring the horse community together. Last but not least, T.R.O.D. provides opportunities for fun. After all, what would all our effort be for if the ultimate result were not a pleasurable experience shared with our horses and fellow equestrians?
