CA&E book requests

As a result of the 1999 Illinois Prairie Path's (IPP) Annual Meeting notices that were mailed to our 2,000 IPP members, and also included in the IPP's Fall Newsletter, we have received several inquiries about the new CA&E book.

For those who have not yet seen the book it is "An illustrated history of the CA&E and its transition to the Illinois Prairie Path." Jean Mooring said that the book provides the best history of the IPP that she has ever seen. I agree with Jean.

The Living Legacy of the Chicago Aurora and Elgin book by Peter Weller and Fred Stark can be purchased at the following locations.

Note: A letter from the authors - the book is in short supply and not to be reprinted.
