In observance of Earth Day 2009, The Illinois Prairie Path not-for-profit corporation has scheduled its Annual Earth Day Trail Cleanup for Saturday, April 25th, 2009 - rain or shine!
Volunteers are needed! Our goal this year is to clean all 62 miles of the Illinois Prairie Path, 11.5 miles of the Great Western Trail and the Southern DuPage County Regional Trail. Hopefully, we can duplicate the excellent results of last year's Earth Day cleanup. We are asking for help by rolling up your sleeves an picking up litter along these trails. Please wear work gloves, bring garbage bags to fill and dress appropriately for the weather.
If you, your family and/or co-workers are interested in helping us, please contact one of the cleanup coordinators listed below.
